Snake River Engagement Session
It all started at a bonfire. The sparks weren’t just from the fire that night—Abby and Gabe met in the glow of flickering flames, and something just clicked. Fast forward to now, and we had the absolute joy of photographing their engagement session along the banks of the Snake River.
Let’s be honest—Idaho summer evenings can be a little wild. It was hot, the mosquitos were relentless, and we were all sweating more than we wanted to admit. But Abby and Gabe were total troopers through it all. You’d never know it from the photos, but they were battling bugs and heat with the biggest smiles and the best attitudes.
They told us at the start, “We’re not very photogenic.” And we’ve gotta say—we hear that all the time, but these two? The camera loved them. Every moment was so natural and sweet. From the way Gabe looks at Abby to the way she fits perfectly in his arms—it’s easy to see they’re made for each other.
Abby wore the cutest white and blue floral dress (seriously, someone needs to give her a modeling contract!) and Gabe rocked his western style like a champ. The scenery along the river gave us the perfect mix of golden light, soft water reflections, and wild Idaho beauty.
We left with bug bites and sun-kissed cheeks, but also full hearts.
