Cheyenne & Robbie

Riverwoods Wedding | April 26th

We’re still smiling as we think back on Cheyenne and Robbie’s wedding at the Riverwoods on April 26th. It was the kind of day that makes us fall in love with weddings all over again—the kind that reminds us why we love being behind the camera together, capturing the moments that truly matter.

Cheyenne and Robbie’s wedding was beautiful in every way, but even more than the florals and the gown and the perfect soft spring light, it was the people who made it unforgettable. These two are such a joyful, down-to-earth couple. They have this genuine, deep love for each other that just shines through in everything they do—especially in the vows they wrote for each other. We’re not saying tears were shed, but… we’re also not saying they weren’t. 😭

The venue was dressed in dusty blue and sage green—two of our favorite colors. (Okay, my wedding colors were almost the exact same, so walking into that reception space felt like stepping back into one of my happiest memories.I loved every minute of it.) Everything was soft, elegant, and so full of life—just like Cheyenne and Robbie. The table decorations were a beautiful mix of rustic elegance and we just adored it. Seriously, it was so gorgeous and full of life there!

And we have to talk about one of the most fun and unique parts of their day: raccoons! 🦝 Yes, you read that right! Robbie’s spirit animal is a raccoon, and we absolutely loved how they found ways to weave that into their decor. From tiny raccoon touches in Cheyenne’s bouquet to the little raccoon bride and groom topping their cake, it brought so much personality to their day—and had all the guests smiling! Ben and I still talk about it and how much fun it was all the time.

Cheyenne and Robbie, we feel so lucky to have been part of your celebration. From the quiet, emotional moments to the belly-laugh ones, you invited us into something so real and beautiful. We’ll never forget your day—and we’ll always think of you whenever we see dusty blue… or raccoons. 😉
